Callinectes Runabout 18

Following fast on the heels of the Callinectes 16 introduction, work began designing a larger version. Stretched to 18 feet, the Callinectes 18 look like a leopard ready to pounce. The additional length presents more interior space plus a longer foredeck, giving her an aggressive and even more alluring look.

Powered by the fuel-efficient Weber 750 MPE engine and jet-drive, performance will mirror her smaller sister with speeds approaching 50 MPH. Her strong but lightweight construction keeps fuel consumption down below 3 gallons/hour at cruising speeds. Custom upholstery uses 4 inch thick foam for unsurpassed comfort. A mix of classic and modern hardware adorn the Callinectes 18 deck, keeping styling true to her pedigree. Creative storage abounds keeping items handy and secure for a glorious day on the water.

Initial orders will use cold-molded vacuumed bagged hulls of cedar and epoxy finished with Awl-Grip paint. Decks are hand-laid mahogany and holly. Additional details are available upon request.
